from texas to Tennessee

In 2015 we stayed at a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Little did we know that trip would change the trajectory of our lives. You see, we've lived in major cities our whole life, so just the sheer amount of 'green' overwhelmed us and fed our family the fresh air we desperately needed at the time. On the way home, our minds were already dreaming. Dreaming that one day we too, could live in the mountains. 

 Fast forward to 2016, we took a leap, packed our bags and moved to East Tennessee! 

Something changed when we moved out here. In all of us. Everything slowed down and we experienced life like we never had and we couldn't wait to have our friends and family come visit so we could show them around! It brought us joy just watching them experience everything! And every time, they left saying, "I'll be back. This place is "special". (And many of them have come back. Multiple times!) 

That's when the light went off! Why not DO what we love doing? Hosting! Introducing others to this heavenly place! We've done all the ground work and know all the places to see and eat, why not share that with everyone?

In 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, Shiloh Glamping was born. (Isn't it funny how sometimes bright ideas can be born in dark places?)

We wanted to introduce those who aren't too fond of camping to nature without leaving the luxury of a hotel. (We're easing you in) ;)

At our core, we hope that you leave our property thinking, like many of our friends, "I need to come back because this place is special."
